Resize a photo to passport or visa size
Pick the country, drop your photo, drag and zoom to frame your face, then download a print-ready JPG. Your photo never leaves your device.
Always confirm the current photo rules with the official issuing agency (head size, background, glasses, recent photo) before printing or submitting.
The JPG matches the printed photo size. Online applications (for example the UK online passport service or China’s COVA visa form) have their own pixel and file-size rules — check that agency’s digital photo requirements.
UK: the online passport application needs an uncropped photo of at least 600×750 px. Use this tool only for printed UK passport photos.
How it works
The frame has the exact shape of the selected photo size. Drag the photo and use the zoom slider until your head is centered, then the tool saves the crop at 300 dpi — for example 600×600 pixels for a 2×2 inch photo. The 4×6 inch print sheet fits as many copies as possible on a standard photo print, with a white border at the paper edge and light cut lines between photos, so you can print it at any photo kiosk and cut the photos out.
Which photo sizes are included?
2×2 inches (51×51 mm) for US passports and visas and Indian visas. 35×45 mm for UK, Japanese and Australian passports, Schengen visas and most EU passports (head size rules differ by country). 50×70 mm for Canadian passports. 33×48 mm for Chinese passports and visas.
Official sources
Each size was checked against an official government page. Rules change, so check the latest rules on the official page before you apply.

Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, so the photo stays on your phone or computer.
Does this check if my photo will be accepted?
No. It only sets the size and framing. Agencies also have rules about head height, background color, lighting and expression that this tool does not check. Read the official requirements for your document.
Print the sheet at 4×6 inches
Choose “4×6” or “10×15 cm” print size and turn off any “fit” or “crop” option so the photos keep their exact size.
The online form has a file-size limit
If the form also limits the file size in KB, you can shrink the downloaded JPG with Compress Image to Exact KB. It may lower the pixel size to reach the limit, so check that the result still meets the agency’s pixel rules.
