Combine images into one PDF under a KB limit

Portals often say “one PDF, max 200KB.” Add your scans or photos, set the limit, and download a PDF that fits. Your images never leave your device.

KB

10 to 20000 KB. Leave empty for no limit.

How it works

Each image is placed on a page in the order you set, then the tool searches for the sharpest resolution and JPG quality that keeps the whole file under your limit. It first lowers quality, then resolution. If the limit cannot be reached, it tells you the smallest size it could make. Sizes use 1 KB = 1,000 bytes, so the result also fits portals that count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes. With “No limit” the images keep their full resolution (up to 4000 pixels on the long side) at high quality, so the PDF can end up larger than your original files.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your documents stay on your phone or computer.

My form wants a PDF under 100KB, 200KB or 300KB. Will it be readable?

It depends on how many pages share the limit. At 100–300KB, about one page of normal printed text or an ID card usually stays readable. Every extra page gets less of the limit, so text gets blurrier; three pages of small print under 100KB are usually not readable. Check the result before you submit. If it is too blurry, use fewer images, crop them to the document first, or put two or four images on one page. Already have a PDF that is too big? Use compress PDF to exact KB. Need a single photo under a limit? Use compress image to exact KB.

How do I put the front and back of an ID card on one page?

Add the front and the back, then choose “Two per page, stacked (ID front and back).” Both sides go on one page, one above the other, and the size limit applies as usual. Cropping each photo to the card first makes the card larger on the page. If the form asks for one image instead of a PDF, set “Save as” to “One JPG image”: all images go on one picture under the same limit.

Can I select the text in the PDF?

No. The PDF holds pictures of your pages, like a scan. Transparent areas in PNG files become white.

Which images can I add?

JPG, PNG and WebP. HEIC files (the iPhone photo format) are not accepted; convert them first with HEIC to JPG.
